Training & Education in the Bristol community
At Empower Link Solutions, we are committed to supporting our local communities in Bristol by providing accessible training and educational opportunities. Our upcoming project aims to empower individuals, particularly adults who arrived in the UK at later stages of life, to gain the skills and qualifications needed to secure meaningful employment.
We plan to deliver a range of foundational courses, including basic Maths, IT, and ESOL lessons, tailored specifically for both young adults and older community members. These classes will be designed to build confidence and essential skills, opening pathways to employment and further education.
In collaboration with local colleges, Bristol City Council, and other community partners, we aim to create a comprehensive training hub. Our objective is to facilitate access to advanced courses such as CSCS and Security Cards, as well as vocational training in forklift operation and other industry-specific certifications.
Furthermore, we will work closely with Jobcentre Plus and local apprenticeship schemes to connect young adults with career opportunities. By partnering with the Malcolm X Centre and similar organisations, we hope to extend our reach and ensure that training and employment support are inclusive and accessible to all.
